One of Indiana University’s most exciting traditions is upon us: Homecoming! There are a variety of activities happening around campus during the week, and the festivities continue into the weekend.
Thank-a-Donor Day took place on Wednesday. Students were able to write a thank you letter to those who show generosity and support to the school. On Thursday at 8:30pm, IU Athletics hosted a Glow Run.
On October 13th from 11am-2pm, IU swag will be given out in specific locations around campus. Look out for these spirit stations around the Union and the Sample Gates to score some free gear. Then at 6pm, the Homecoming parade commences at the IMU. Catch the start or gather along Woodlawn Ave to see the procession make its way to the tailgating fields on 17th street. After the parade, there will be a pep rally complete with food and fireworks.
On Saturday, October 14th, the IU football team will be taking on the University of Michigan. The game starts at noon, so get to Memorial Stadium to cheer on your fellow Hoosiers! You can purchase tickets here.
Overall, there are plenty of opportunities to show your school spirit. Homecoming is shaping up to be an exciting event!
