Bloomington’s Back on the Big Screen with ‘The Good Catholic’!

Screen shot of the Good Catholic trailer

Bloomington is back on the big screen! The Good Catholic opens in some theaters today, as well as on demand through Fandango Now, iTunes, and Amazon!

This is an exciting time to be a Hoosier, considering the film was made by a handful of Hoosiers! Director Paul Shoulberg received his MFA at IU and Zachary Spicer, who plays the lead role in the movie, earned his undergrad at IU. Producers John Armstrong and David Anspaugh (director of Rudy and Hoosiers) are – you guessed it – IU alumni too! Needless to say, this movie is built and influenced by Hoosier pride and tradition.

There are also some big names in this film. You’ll recognize Danny Glover, known for Lethal Weapon and Shooter, as well as “the guy from Scrubs.” John McGinley. He even rocks some IU gear in the movie!
