My Roomate Loves IUBB

Personally, I have yet to attend an IU basketball game. I know, I know. It's terrible. I just didn't buy season tickets, and never have gotten around to buying individual tickets. My bad.

Well this semester I switched roommates (thank goodness for that, maybe more on that in a later post, maybe not), and my new roomie loves IUBB (IU Basketball, for all you beginners out there). She has season tickets with her sister, and has donned the candy stripe pants for every game since she's got them. I think it's awesome. We need fans like her.

Well tonight, IU beat Michigan State. WOOT! But another victory in little ol' B-town was my roommate getting on ESPN a bunch with her awesome sign. As you can see from the picture on my right, she is a big Will Sheehey fan.

Another cool thing about IU Basketball is that when the visitors take free throws at a home game, there are huge heads of celebrities people put up in hopes to distract the visiting team.

Well over winter break, my roommate decided that she wanted herself as a big head. So her dad made her one. So now whenever she has a seat behind the basket for a home game, she totes along this beauty...

Pictured is my roommate, in big head form, and another friend holding said big head, in our dorm room.

To bring it back, when you enroll at IU, yes you are going to get a high quality education. But you will get so many more unique opportunities, like the chance to hold a big head.
