Care Packages for college students

Let's be honest, everyone likes personal mail, no matter what it is. A couple of my friends have sent me hand written letters, and those are always fun to get. My favorite thing to ever recieve is a card from my family... and normally those include a little spending cash if I've been good.

However, when my mom sends me care packages, they always include food, and snacks, and sugar. My mom calls me "Willy Wonka" because I love candy so much. I have gotten some great Halloween care packages. Last year my boyfriend knew I would be sad to miss out on the great post-Halloween candy sales, and he sent me two big bags of Kit-Kats and Twix. This year, my mom send me candy corn, a pumpkin that read "I love you" and ":)" and also a card.

I just asked my roommates what they would prefer so I could compile a list. Here it is:

  • food
  • chocolate
  • a note
  • love
  • anything scented in perfume
  • a stuffed animal
  • fuzzy socks
  • something with her name on it
  • "college survival kit"
  • kleenexes
  • lotion
  • STAMPS (then I'll write home... haha)

The more specific your tokens of love are towards your collegian the better. Anything that let's them know you are thinking about them will be much appreciated.

Shoutout to my mom who has decorated my walls with cards for the last two years. Thanks for your continued love and support.

Peace, Love, Care Packages.
