Welcome Week at IU!

Hi guys!

So I survived my first welcome week! Yay!

I got to do some pretty cool things including:
- taking a behind the scenes tour at the Musical Arts Center
- finding out the best places to eat (Read has waffles!!!!!)
- bonding with my floormates
- experiencing Kirkwood
- finding where all my classes are
- getting to know some of my classmates
And meeting a ton of new people!

I had my first class yesterday (Spanish 200) and even though the trek up to Foster wasn't ideal, it was great to see all the students bustling around campus early in the morning. I actually ended up buying the wrong book for my Spanish class (stupid "custom" books), but I ended up buying the right one, so now I'm all set.

I went to my 8am Psychology class today and there were so many people! When you see college classes portrayed in movies and television, they definitely got the mass lecture hall scene down to a T. I'm just hoping I can get used to waking up at 7 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I still have my Visual Communication class this afternoon, and then Finite right after. I'm so terrified of Finite! I'm just glad there's so many free tutoring opportunities available on campus. Make sure to utilize them!

Alright, well I better go prepare for my next two classes....

I can honestly say that I am very proud to be a Hoosier and can't wait to see what this school year has in store! IU 2016!
