American Idiot at IU Auditorium - 9/4

So not only was yesterday my 18th birthday (yay!), but I also got to see American Idiot at the IU Auditorium for free thanks to RPS!

I've loved Green Day ever since their American Idiot album, and was absolutely thrilled when I heard that they were making a broadway musical based on the album.

The show last night was incredible! Both the acting and singing were stupendous, and it didn't hurt that the main character sang a bit like Billie Joe Armstrong.

My favorite part of the musical was definitely when all the cast members played an acoustic version of Good Riddance (Time of your Life); that's one of my favorite songs of Green Day's. I can't believe every single cast member can play guitar in such harmony!
