This week at Wright Food Court, they have a few specials. This is by far the best time of the year, when they serve something other than the norm.
The campus food isn't as bad as I thought it would be though. Of course there are the typical horror stories one hears about the food. Where it comes from, what it REALLY is and much more. No matter what the truth is, the food courts, especially Wright, are willing to make your food exactly the way you want it - all you have to do is ask.
I'm currently a sophomore and I've spent countless time eating at Wright, whether I'm eating or just tagging along with friends. The food does get old kind of fast, but then there are times when you crave it like no other. I know, it's weird, but you get used to it.
There is nothing like a home cooked meal though. I make sure I enjoy one EVERY time I go home. It gives you reassurance that there is other food out there.
It's also a good idea to bring food from home or keep some snacks in your room. Meal points tend to go by fast. Especially when you realize you can use them at the C-Store. At least that's what it was for me.
Campus food; can't live with it, can't live without it.
