Four Best IU Twitter Accounts to Follow

There are a ton of Twitter accounts all about IU. Some are affiliated and some are not.  Each one gives a different perspective about IU. In my opinion, the four that I have picked represent Indiana University the best because of their newsworthy and informative tweets. Check these four Twitter accounts out to get all of the up-to-date information about IU and Bloomington.

1. @idsnews

The IDS is indiana University's school newspaper. They tweet newspaper headlines and current campus information. If you want to stay informed on what is happening on campus, Follow @idsnews.

2.  @TomCrean

The one the only Tom Crean is the head basketball coach at IU. He has turned the program around and coached the team to the sweet sixteen this past year. He always looks tan and tweets inspirational quotes and updates about the team. To find out the lastest information on the upcoming basketball season and players, follow him. #iubb

3. @IUBloomington

If you want to know when each IU sports team is playing and the score, @IUBloomington is a must follow. They cheer on each team and always root against Purdue, of course.

4. @TheBigHandsome

The Big Handsome is a nickname given to Cody Zeller. If you don't know who Cody is, well I am not sure where you have been. He led the basketball team to the sweet sixteen last year as a freshman and was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2012. This is not the real twitter account for Cody Zeller, but has  racked up almost 12,000 followers. Tweets are from Cody's fake point of view.
