Better than Christmas Eve, the Wait for Spring

I can't believe it's the end of February and I've only scraped ice off my car twice. After wearing a light coat around campus three days in a row, which is an eternity when measuring the consistency of Bloomington weather, students are starting to look forward and get ready for the best part of spring semester. So much fun and excitement is going to be packed into the next couple weeks with Spring Break, Little 500, and the return of porch-sitting, and I can't wait until that first day when teachers and students both decide it's too nice out to sit in Ballantine.
