A McNutty Freshman Year at Indiana University

If you received the golden ticket to live in McNutt for your first year at Indiana, get ready for an unmatched introduction to Hoosier nation. More than just where you’ll live, McNutt Residence Hall will soon become a home.

Essential to dorm life at any school, shared bathrooms and living in a closet-sized area with another person is a guarantee at McNutt and every other dorm on campus. However, what separates the northwest neighborhood from the rest of the residential communities is life outside of that dorm room.

You’ll be living right across the street from Gresham food court for a convenient “gresh sesh” on your way home from class. The 'A-bus' stops directly in front of the complex to ease the strain of walking up the Fee Lane hill in August heat and humidity, and the ideal location of McNutt will be made apparent the first night you and your new found friends want to venture into Bloomington nightlife. McNutt will be the jumping off point.

Not only near the Night Owl bus stop, the dorm is within walking distance of the stadium neighborhood and North Jordan. This makes a nightlife within McNutt all on its own. Always a beehive of activity, the northwest neighborhood breeds fun times, but McNutt stands out as the best. Keep your door open and you’ll be swept into a freshman year full of adventures.
