Free Classes at the SRSC

Hello everyone!

I haven't written a blog for several weeks! Sorry about that! I've haven't had the most eventful few weeks. I've mostly had my head buried in my books.

Saturday morning, I walked into the doors of the SRSC for the first time since school started. Awful, I know. I've never been one to exercise regularly other than walking around campus - and walking around campus could be a debatable form of exercise. My friend, Hailey, convinced me to go to a Zuma class with her Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

First thought: Too early. I can't exercise that early.

Nevertheless, I woke up early and prepared for Zuma. I took out my workout clothes that have been folded in the back of my closet all year. I knew I was in for a rough 45 minutes. When I say I never work out, I literally mean I never work out. Thankfully I was blessed with a high metabolism.

I didn't quite know what to expect when I walked into the class but I had lots of fun. After the workout, I felt really good.

The SRSC is such a great facility on campus. I would definitely take advantage of the free classes that the SRSC has to offer students. If you want to blow off some steam, burn off a high-calorie dinner or just go have fun with some friends, I would definitely recommend Zuma.

And don't tell yourself you don't have the time.

You can always make time for a quick workout.

Sorry for the long absence. The last month of school is looking pretty promising, so I'll make sure to blog more often! Have a stellar April, guys!
