My name is Luke Schram, and I'm a 19-year-old first-year student from Northern Indiana. I currently live in the Collins Living Learning Center on the Bloomington campus, and although I am technically a sophomore due to credits I brought in from high school, my experiences are still those of a college freshman. Hopefully through this blog I can detail these experiences and supply some sort of context for future IU students.
I grew up in the South Bend area, a location saturated with the influences of Notre Dame University and with the local automobile industry history. I had the chance to stay in the area and attend Notre Dame, but I wanted a change of pace, so I chose to make the journey down to Bloomington to continue my education. I am currently a biochemistry major, but that is by no means set in stone. Some of my passions include photography and music, with each playing a role in my everyday life. Hopefully through this blog I can discuss and share both, as well as provide a written chronicle of the unique and wonderful experiences I have been having at IU.
