"Wait, where's Forest?" Life at Forest Quad

To answer the question "where's Forest?" it is in the Southeast Neighborhood near the Education building and Willkie.  Here's a LINK and another. I lived in Forest for two years and was involved in the student government there.  While I lived in Forest I made my closest friends at school and met the people I will be rooming with in an apartment next year (woot woot!).  It was a relatively quiet place (minus the construction of the past year(s)) but through all of the organizations that were represented there were always things to do in the dorm or fliers for things to go out and do--it was great!

The Restaurants at Woodland Floor PlanThis year I think it won't be as quiet considering there will be a BRAND NEW DINING HALL!  I'm really excited about this dining hall; so excited, in fact, that I'm going to work there in the fall.  If you are living at Forest you are one lucky duck this year.  From the people in student government to the phenomenal food you will be having, don't sweat the Southeast Neighborhood, it's a great place to be!  I should talk about walking distances, huh?  Okay so the walking distances aren't the best on campus, but hey, it's a pretty big campus and if you really don't want to walk there is a campus bus that stops right outside the quad.  From Forest to Ballentine Hall is about 10-15 minutes walking or about 5 minutes on a bus.  I mention Ballentine Hall because a lot of classes Freshman year are taken there, and it is a pretty central location.

Good luck, good learing, and good fun.

Until next time,
