Brooke: An Introduction

Me and Herman B. My name is Brooke Mankin, and I am a freshman majoring in Speech and Hearing Sciences (Speech Pathology) and am planning on minoring in Folklore/Ethnomusicology and Psychology. I was in show choir in high school, and I am a true musical theater nerd. (If you ever want to go see anything at the IU Auditorium, I'm your girl.) I have an obsession with Hello Kitty dating as far back as I remember, and I can make just about any experience a fun one. I am in Theta Phi Alpha, the newest sorority on campus, and I have been loving every minute of it. I am also involved in CRU here at IU, where I get some amazing fellowship and get to spread the love of Jesus Christ to everyone on this campus.

I can't imagine myself at any other university, and I have been having a blast this year. I hope that through my blogs you can see why IU is such an amazing place to be! College life has been an adventure, and has been more than I could ever hope for! Freshman year is something that I will always look back on with fond memories. I can't wait for the years to come!
