When I entered college there were a number of things I was excited about: setting my own schedule, sleeping in late, and choosing my own classes. However, being held accountable for my own food, not so much. Being in college is basically being thrown out of the nest and having to forge for food on your own. The experience can be overwhelming to say the least and any poor decisions you make will undoubtedly make an appearance on the scale. Come spring break you will find yourself wondering where those extra 15 pounds came from.
However, I was fortunate enough to discover Noodles & Co quite early on during my freshman year. Located on Kirkwood Av, Noodles & Co serves an array of food ranging from Italian, to American, to Asian and they all taste amazing. The prices can fit into any frugal college student's budget and the restaurant’s atmosphere makes it an ideal place to catch up with friends. The best part is that when you find yourself starving, but stuck working on that paper or studying for that exam, well Noodles delivers! Word of advice, the Japanese Pan Fried noodles are to die for!
