HI! For my first We Are IU blog post, I figured I would do the cliché “get-to-know-me” post.
My name is Ali Farr and I am a Junior majoring in Arts Management and minoring in music. As of right now, I want to go to Law School and practice entertainment law. I am absolutely obsessed with music. This summer, I’ve been on a country kick. But I do love rock, hip-hop, top 40, EVERYTHING!
On campus, I’m involved in Union Board: Live from Bloomington. We plan local, smaller music shows and collect money/goods for Hoosier Hills Food Bank. It’s so fun being involved in something that I love AND get to give back to the community. Last year, I was invited to be a part of the SPEA-Honors Program. So right now, I am working hard on my classes and requirements to continue as an Honors Student. I’m also am a Charter Member of Theta Phi Alpha. Theta Phi is a new sorority on campus and I was lucky enough to be selected as a woman to help establish and bring it back to campus!
Indiana University- Bloomington is my favorite place to be. I love walking down Kirkwood shopping and drinking coffee, walking through campus on my way to class, and being inside Assembly Hall cheering on the Hoosiers. I can’t imagine what my life would be like or whom I would be without IU.
